1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the $199 Domains marketplace ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

$199 Domains is an online marketplace for purchasing domain names at a fixed price of $199 USD per domain. We facilitate the sale and transfer of domain names between the seller (us) and the buyer (you).

3. Purchases & Pricing

All domain names listed on the Service are priced at $199 USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. Once a purchase is completed, the price is locked for that transaction.

Payment is processed via Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize us to charge the specified amount.

4. Domain Transfer Process

After a successful purchase, the domain transfer process will be initiated within 72 hours. You will receive instructions on how to accept the transfer at your registrar. The transfer process typically takes 5-7 business days, depending on the registrar and domain extension.

It is your responsibility to have an active account at a domain registrar capable of receiving transfers and to follow the transfer instructions provided.

5. Refund Policy

If a domain transfer fails for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are not available for successfully transferred domains or for transfer failures caused by the buyer (e.g., failure to accept the transfer, expired registrar account).

6. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. Accounts allow you to save favorite domains, track purchases, and save filter preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

7. Domain Availability

Domain availability is subject to change. A domain listed on the marketplace may be sold or removed at any time without prior notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings current but do not guarantee the availability of any specific domain.

8. Domain Expiration & Renewal

All domain names are sold as-is. Some domains may be close to their expiration date and may expire soon after the purchase is finalized. The seller does not warrant or guarantee any specific expiration date, remaining registration term, or renewal cost. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to check the expiration status of the domain and to renew the domain registration with their registrar immediately or soon after the transfer is complete to prevent any loss of ownership. The seller is not liable for any domain expiration, drop, or loss of ownership post-transfer.

9. Intellectual Property

The purchase of a domain name grants you the right to use that domain name. It does not grant any trademark rights. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of a purchased domain does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, $199 Domains shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service or any domain purchased through the Service.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Purchase domains for the purpose of cybersquatting or trademark infringement
• Engage in fraudulent transactions
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest domain data

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
