.com domain value checker

.com is still the strongest extension in our scoring rubric, and the one buyers trust by default. That does not make every .com valuable: length, spelling and brandability still decide most of the score.

What moves a .com's value

Short one-word and two-word .coms that are easy to spell sit at the top. Long keyword strings, plurals that read awkwardly, and names that need explaining sit near the bottom, even on .com.

Because .com is the default, a buyer comparing your .com to the same word on a newer extension will usually pick the .com. That is the extension premium, and the checker accounts for it.

Frequently asked questions

Is a .com always worth more than other extensions?

For the same word, usually yes. A short, brandable .app or .ai can still outscore a long, awkward .com.

What does the score measure?

How readily the name would resell to a founder or startup buyer. The AI scores length and simplicity, brandability, keyword or commercial value, and extension strength, and applies penalties for hyphens, digits, awkward spellings and trademark risk.

Is the checker free?

Yes. It is free, needs no signup, and every result gets its own shareable page.
